DCS Preventive Maintenance

A single annual maintenance visit can add years to the life of your DCS appliance.

Appliance Repair Guide

What's Included

  • Burner port cleaning and flow verification
  • Igniter and electrode inspection and adjustment
  • Gas valve and regulator pressure test
  • Grill grate, heat tent, and firebox deep clean
  • Oven door seal and hinge inspection
  • Seasonal outdoor appliance winterization checklist

DCS appliances are engineered for demanding, high-frequency use — but that output comes with an expectation of regular care. Grease accumulation in burner ports reduces flame quality and increases flare-up risk on outdoor grills. Dust and debris in range hoods reduce airflow efficiency. Seasonal temperature swings in outdoor kitchens stress door gaskets, refrigerant lines, and igniter electronics. A scheduled preventive maintenance visit catches these issues before they become failures, keeping your DCS appliances operating at the performance level you paid for.

Common DCS Issues We Prevent

  • Blocked burner ports: grease and debris accumulation causes uneven flames and ignition failure
  • Worn igniter electrodes: gap drift leads to unreliable spark and repeated no-light situations
  • Degraded door gaskets: heat loss in ovens means longer preheat times and higher energy use
  • Corroded grill grates and heat tents: outdoor exposure accelerates rust without periodic protective treatment
  • Clogged range hood filters: saturated filters reduce airflow and create fire risk
  • Low regulator pressure: pressure drift causes weak flames and inconsistent cooking temperatures
  • Refrigerator condenser dust buildup: overworks the compressor and shortens its life
  • Moisture intrusion in outdoor controls: water in ignition switches causes shorts and control failures

Appliances We Maintain

Our maintenance program covers all DCS appliances: professional dual-fuel and all-gas ranges (RDV2, RDV3, RGV2, RGV3), rangetops, cooktops (CPU-366 and CPU-486), wall ovens, Series 7 and Series 9 outdoor grills, VS and ES range hoods, RF24RE4 outdoor refrigerators, and outdoor beverage storage. We offer dedicated seasonal maintenance packages for outdoor kitchen setups — including pre-summer start-up visits and pre-winter shutdown procedures specific to the DCS grill and refrigeration product line.

Our Maintenance Process

  1. Appliance inventory review: we note the model, age, and usage level of each DCS appliance to prioritize maintenance tasks correctly.
  2. Deep cleaning: burner ports, grates, heat tents, drip trays, range hood filters, and condenser coils are cleaned to manufacturer specifications.
  3. Component inspection and adjustment: igniter gaps, door seal compression, hinge tension, and gas pressure are measured and adjusted as needed.
  4. Safety system test: thermocouple shutoff, flame failure response, and ventilation airflow are verified under live operating conditions.
  5. Maintenance report: you receive a written record of everything inspected, adjusted, or flagged for future attention — useful for warranty documentation and resale.

Transparent Pricing

DCS preventive maintenance visits start from $119 per appliance, with discounted multi-appliance packages for complete outdoor kitchen setups. Annual maintenance agreements are also available. Call or book online to schedule your visit.
